Lisa Olson is a member of the Family Office Services group whose principal role is to manage the daily operations for the group. Her role encompasses the control and upkeep of the group’s internal general ledger and portfolio accounting systems as well as the preparation and analysis of client reporting.
Lisa is experienced in analyzing and developing processes for the highest level of operational efficiency for her team. Lisa thrives on detailed analytics, ensuring the accuracy of data that her team members rely on in managing their client relationships.
Lisa has extensive experience with data conversions and portfolio accounting software set-up. She was instrumental in successfully building and managing the operational procedures for a start-up family wealth management firm. In addition, Lisa has developed the infrastructure of the current software systems in use by the Family Office Services group at Whitnell. She has worked closely with software engineers in their development of reconciliation and trading applications as well as in the development of client reporting designed to meet the needs of ultra-high net worth family groups.
Lisa has been working in the family office field since 1992 when she joined the start-up firm Frye-Louis Capital Management which was subsequently acquired by Credit Suisse Securities in 2001. She joined Whitnell in April of 2011 as one of the initial members of the Family Office Services group.
She holds a BA in Management from DePaul University.
